Omnissa Access Release

What’s New in June 2025

Device Trust Connector for Microsoft Edge for Business

We’re excited to announce Omnissa Access Device Trust Connector for Microsoft Edge for Business. Device Trust Connector for Edge for Business signals make it possible to verify the posture of an unmanaged device (BYOD) or a third-party managed device prior to allowing access to company resources.

Microsoft Edge management service is a capability in the Microsoft 365 admin center that enables admins to easily configure Microsoft Edge browser settings for their organization. A managed Edge web browser can collect information about the security posture of a device and Omnissa Access can now use this information for a posture-informed access decision made in real time.

Edge for Business Device Signals authentication is available for users running the Edge browser with a managed profile on Windows devices.

Support for SIEM Integration in Omnissa Access Cloud

Omnissa Access Cloud now offers the ability to forward Access audit information to third-party Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems as Syslog events. Access Cloud can forward audit events to SIEM and Syslog servers in the cloud or in customer data centers. This release includes native adapters for a Syslog server and Splunk. The integration requires mutual TLS (mTLS) authentication between Access and the external system.

Omnissa Workspace ONE Hub Services

Launch Native Apps from Hub

Intelligent Hub users can now install and subsequently launch a Workspace ONE UEM-managed app from the Apps tab in Hub. Before the release of this feature, users could install a Workspace UEM-managed app from Hub, search for that app from the Start menu, and then launch it. Now, users can launch the managed apps from the Hub app itself, significantly enhancing usability.

Configurable support contact information in Support tab

Intelligent Hub administrators (console admins) can now configure IT Support email address and phone number for their users. Users can subsequently go to the Contact section in the Support tab to get help.

Before the release of this feature, console admins could not overwrite system defaults. Now, they can control whether users see system default information or configured information. Together with templates, admins can configure unique support information for different user groups.

This feature is available for Hub for Web. It is expected to be rolled out for all Hub clients at a later time.
