Workspace ONE PIV-D Manager 25.05 for iOS

New Features

Minimum Requirements

Workspace ONE Launcher 25.05 for Android

New Features

  • Respect User Consent Preferences for Data Collection in Workspace ONE Launcher Launcher now adheres to user consent preferences selected in Hub when collecting data. If the user has opted out of data collection, then Launcher will prevent telemetry or background data collection actions accordingly.
  • Enable Font Size Adjustment in Workspace ONE Launcher Users can now apply system-level font size settings within Launcher. This ensures accessibility settings configured via Android system settings reflect within Launcher UI.
  • Enhanced Section Labels for Improved User Visibility and Grouping Launcher now supports detailed customization of section headers in multi-app canvas mode. Admins can use labels and groupings to improve visual segmentation and user navigation.
  • Enhanced Speed Lock Usability for Driver Safety When a device exits speed lock mode (used in vehicle settings), the last-used application will automatically reopen. This improves safety and continuity for drivers.
  • Access to Wi-Fi Settings in Inactivity Authentication Screen The inactivity authentication screen now includes a shortcut to Wi-Fi settings enabling users to connect to networks without exiting the session or requiring full access.
  • Control Sound Behavior for Logout Notification Logout notifications triggered by Launcher no longer plays sounds repeatedly. This reduces noise and distraction for shared devices that log users out frequently.

  • For Toggling WiFi minimum version is 22.08
  • For Launcher WiFi screen is 22.09

Resolved Issues

  • ALAU-173927: Resolved an issue where setting display brightness to 0 on Android 11+ devices did not apply as expected.

Preparing for Workspace ONE Modern SaaS Rollout (Managed Hosting / Dedicated Cloud Customers)

  • For Shared SaaS, environments have already been enabled or will be enabled automatically in the near future
  • Familiarize yourselves with upcoming changes with Modern SaaS, including changes in workflows, terminology, and known issues. (See – TechZone article here.)​
  • Request environment migration with the Omnissa account team (CSM, TAM, AE, SE) once ready. The team will work internally to request an enablement week on your behalf.​
  • Environment clean-up* (resources outside of tenant boundary e.g., global resources).​
  • Remove/migrate invalid resources (apps, profiles, policies) from the console.​
  • Remove/migrate invalid SGs.​
  • Ensure all users/devices are at or under Customer/Partner OGs. If users exist above Customer/Partner OGs with devices enrolled, device enrollment may be required.​
  • Validate Smart Group & app exclusion. See KB here.​
  • Update Workspace ONE UEM to the latest version prior to Mod Stack enablement, minimum UEM 24.10.​

  • MACOS-5817 – Re-enrolled macOS device not installing profiles unless device record is deleted prior to re-enroll.
  • PPAT-19252 – Console to AWCM connectivity is intermittently failing in tunnel test connection following UEM Console upgrade.
  • PPAT-19334 – Custom Setting option not visible for the Saved STC profile.
  • RUGG-13625 – File Not Found error when creating Zebra Stage Now staging profiles.
  • RUGG-13646 – Profile and app assignment status incorrectly shown as Assigned for deleted or unassigned Products.

  • ARES-28824 – Apps should be sortable on app name on Device Details Apps tab but is currently not sortable.
  • ARES-31938 – List of impacted devices not visible in App Removal Log when admin clicks on ‘Impacted Device Count’ for apps in ‘Paused’ state.
  • ARES-32065 – Incorrect total profile count sometimes displayed on the Device Profiles list.
  • ARES-32306 – Internal app version does not upgrade on devices when setting ‘Keep app updated automatically” is enabled.
  • ARES-32356 – While publishing a VPP app, device preview page displayed ‘Added’ devices even when no changes are made to the assignment.
  • ARES-32372 – Inactive profiles sometimes not visible on Profile List view.
  • ARES-32506 – False ARP alarm received by admin even though ARP threshold not breached in configured time window.
  • ARES-32773 – Duplicate entry sometimes present on Device Apps list with status as Installed but not assigned for app installed via Workflow.
  • ARES-32807 – Device Profile list sometimes throws error after configuring Customer Attributes payload in a MacOS profile Issue key Summary.
  • CRSVC-57423 (Former Known Issue) – Fixed an issue where if an app was installed via Freestyle for Mobile, then removed by the end user, the app would be re-installed on the device during one of its subsequent check-ins. This differed from expected behavior, where apps are not re-installed if removed.
  • FS-6996 (Former Known Issue) – Fixed an issue where in Freestyle for Mobile, the ‘App Exists’ and ‘App Does Not Exist’ condition was case sensitive. It is now case insensitive.
  • RUGG-13615 – Count of apps on the Device Details Summary page isn’t matching with the apps listed in Device Details.
